More and more people are approaching mindfulness techniques to deal with the stress in their life, to find some more balance, clarity and to deepen the relationship with themselves.
More are also embracing the idea that we are not only physical beings going around our days, and are experiencing a new relationship with ourselves through more relaxation, meditation, or big life questions.
Shifting from a material to a more spiritual way of living can be confusing at times because our society is still mainly based on consumeristic, 3D values, and changing ways seems like a big effort.
I see and I talk with many people that are at that point in life where they question some choices that they made in regards to career, relationships, for example.
𝑹𝒆-𝒆𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒂𝒏 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒕𝒉, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚, 𝒊𝒕 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔𝒏'𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒂𝒔 𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝒂𝒔 𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒅 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒔.
Ideally, it can be fun. It can be exciting. It can be thrilling!
But we are not told that enough! Often we think there is only one way to be, one path to follow.
It is difficult, if not impossible, to be able to quietly observe all the possibilities in front of us when our mind is scattered, jumping from one worry to the other, from one thought to the other, unable to stay still for longer than a single breath.
I remember when I was there. When I could not find peace.
I would spend my days (and I mean days) in despair, worry, boredom, doubt, anger sometimes, definitely exhaustion, dissatisfaction.
𝑰 𝒌𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝑰 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒂𝒅𝒅𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔.
Everything changed when I found a person that showed me how to combine everyday life choices with mindfulness techniques.
With her, meditation became part of my days, not just relegated to the time on the meditation cushion.
She also showed me that not all spirituality is woooh-woooh, ungrounded fluff, and it can be extremely rational and grounded.
Her speaking of Energies, Souls, and spiritual things deeply resonates with my analytic mind, and there it was the piece of the puzzle I was missing.
Before I felt separate:
The scientist, with her studies in Chemistry and a life in the normal world.
The healer, with her passion for energy work and unseen realms.
Now those parts come together in the Being I am today.
And is reflected in the way I work.
Yes, there are cards and astrology, and there is the study of behavioral patterns.
Yes, there is energy healing, and there are easy and approachable tips on how to face a situation in real life with a mindful mindset.
My work is a beautiful combination of techniques that consider the body, the soul, and the mind of the person.
